Solar auditions for Animal Idol

Solar and I drove out to Pewaukee, WI today.  The Great Lakes Pet Expo, held annually on Super Bowl Saturday, is looking for talented animal acts to be featured in their show/demo line-up.  They created what they are calling "Animal Idol", a contest to find the area's best animal act! 

As an attempt to spread the Pawsitive Vybe, I took Solar out and played some Frisbee and did some tricks.  He did a fantastic job!  They will be having a semi-final round sometime in January, but they assured us that we'd have no problem making it!  They were also interested in having us do a show/demo seperate from the contest during the 2010 Expo. 

Stay tuned for more updates on the compeition in the future.  The Vybe is spreading...

It is awesome, except for the fact I got kicked out of the competition itself. Apparently, after I had left, the judges were so impressed that they thought it wasn't fair to other competitors to have me in that "amateur" competition...

So instead, they are giving me two 15 minute slots to do a demo and also my own vendor space.

Funny how you can go from Rookie to Pro in such a short time, eh?
